Turquoise Beads

Our turquoise is from the Hubei Province of China, an area which is known for some of the most amazingly colored turquoise in the world. You’ll find our turquoise ranging from the popular sky blue and tropical green colors to the latest trend in yellows.

Turquoise is believed to be a stone of spiritual attunement, cleansing, protection and prosperity. A symbol of the earth and sky, good fortune, and success. It is also believed to balance the mind and the soul, and connect all with life. The Hindus said that it could accumulate wealth; the Tibetans believe that while turquoise can ensure good fortune; it can also guard one’s health and protect against the evil eye; the Buddhists associate Turquoise with knowledge of the future; the Navajos thought that a prayer spoken while throwing turquoise into the river would bring rain; the Persians have a legend that one who sees the reflection of the new moon on turquoise will have good luck.
